Merely do the work

Sometimes, I overthink, hesitate, or wait for motivation to strike. But Seth Godin’s book The Practice cuts through all that with one powerful reminder: merely do the work.

Not for praise.

Not for likes.

Not for perfection.

Just… do it. Ship it. Repeat.

This post is my nudge to myself:

  • Write.
  • Create.
  • Share.

No pressure, no excuses.

If I focus on the habit — the practice — the outcomes will take care of themselves.

So here it is. I showed up. I wrote this. I pressed publish.

Let’s see where this leads.

The goal is not to ship perfect work, but to ship good enough stuff.

Once you practice regularly, you will develop taste, and you can find out what is good enough and what is not.
