WordCamps are fun. The experience and insights that I get from WordCamp are priceless.
The one thing I learned from WC Udaipur was perseverance.
The Trip
Me and my wife Anna, traveled from Chennai to Udaipur via Hyderabad.
The plane had to land in Ahmedabad instead of Udaipur due to poor visibility.
It was the first ever flight diverted experience.
We visited the City Palace. It is magnificent!
We visited the Sajjan Garh sanctury and the monsoon palace on the next day.
We also enjoyed the camel safari.
The Event
I felt energized to meet the community at the pre-event dinner.
I met the elicus team, WeWP, and many others.
The Talk
My talk was right after the afternoon tea break.
I still feel my slides could have more points and a working demo.
Thirty minutes is not enough time to talk about the composer.
The Blue City
We found the local Tibetian market convenient to buy souvenirs.
It was challenging to get up early in winter and catch the bus.
Apps like Rapido were of great use in the north India.
We reached Jodhpur on time and visited the Mehrangarh Fort.
The food was so good, and it was a cheat day.
We wandered around the blue city.
I couldn’t find the houses and streets I wanted to see. But the experience was great.
Why Persevere?
I am applying for jobs regularly and eagerly wait for the responses from the employers.
I should persevere.
