# Why professionals show up even when they don’t feel like it

Authenticity sounds noble until it becomes an excuse.

“I’m not feeling it today” might be honest. But the surgeon still operates. The pilot still flies. The teacher still teaches.

Professionals don’t wait for inspiration. They show up because they committed to showing up.

Your dentist doesn’t check her mood before cleaning your teeth. The bus driver doesn’t skip his route because he’s having an off day. They’re consistent, not because they’re robots, but because consistency is respect.
