# When Writing PRDs Feels Like Climbing a Mountain

I’m a developer. Writing Product Requirements Documents? That’s not my thing.

Until I found ChatPRD

This tool does something simple.

It takes your messy ideas and turns them into proper PRDs.

The kind that make sense.

The kind you can actually use.

Here’s what I do now:

Dump my thoughts into ChatPRD

Get a clean markdown file back

Use that file as my starting prompt for AI agents

No more staring at blank documents. No more wondering if I covered everything important.

It gives me a structure I can follow.

A roadmap for my scattered thoughts.

Sure, I’m still a developer.

But now I can think like a product manager when I need to. My side projects have better direction. My features make more sense.
